Why me
Big-organisation experience, small-business common sense.
Most small businesses know they should be doing something with AI. Few know where to start. There are hundreds of tools, everyone has an opinion, and nobody has time to work it out between running the business. That's exactly where I start.
I've spent years leading data and AI work in large organisations, including six years at the University of Canterbury. I work with Sport NZ and the Crusaders on how they use data and AI, and I run AI training for teams of all sizes, from complete beginners to confident users.
I bring that experience to small businesses in a way that's practical, affordable and honest. If AI isn't the right answer for something, I'll tell you.

Not at all. Most people I work with are starting from scratch. No jargon, no assumed knowledge.
Is it safe to put my business information into AI tools?
It can be, with the right tool, the right settings and clear rules for your team. Getting this right is part of everything I do.
Do I need to buy expensive software?
Usually not. Many businesses already pay for tools with AI built in, like Microsoft 365 or Google Workspace. We start with what you've got.
Will AI replace my staff?
The goal is to take the boring, repetitive work off your people so they can spend more time on customers and the work they're good at.
Can you train my team?
Yes. I run practical AI training for teams of any size, in person across Canterbury or online, built around the work your people actually do.
